With a slender 180 cm frame and the appearance of a movie star, Durian transforms into a glamorous diva in 20 cm high heels when becoming a drag queen. With overwhelming vocal power and commanding stage presence, Durian’s soulful voice resonates throughout the concert hall. The Symphonic Concert features a chamber orchestra and jazz trio ensemble, with a program consisting of Showa-era Japanese popular songs and Western music classics.

Drag queen. Born in 1984 in Tokyo. Standing 180 cm tall, wearing 20 cm high heels and an enormous headdress, Durian’s towering figure seems to strive endlessly toward the sky, like one of the people of Babel. Since debuting in 2006, Durian has captivated audiences with long limbs, a sharp tongue, and a rich, powerful voice, appearing in a wide range of events as an MC, model, and performer in films, stage productions, and commercials.
