三浦一馬（バンドネオン）　Kazuma Miura, Bandoneon

2006年、別府アルゲリッチ音楽祭でバンドネオンの世界的権威ネストル・マルコーニと出会い、自作CDの売上で渡航費を捻出してアルゼンチンへ渡り、現在に至るまで師事。
2008年、イタリアで開催された第33回国際ピアソラ・コンクールで日本人初、史上最年少で準優勝を果たす。
2011年には別府アルゲリッチ音楽祭でマルタ・アルゲリッチ、ユーリー・バシュメットら世界的名手と共演。
2014年度出光音楽賞受賞。NHK大河ドラマ「青天を衝け」の大河紀行音楽演奏を担当し、テレビ朝日「徹子の部屋」への出演など、幅広いメディアでも注目を集める。
最新アルバム『三浦一馬 バンドネオン・シネマ』（ビクター）をリリース。
2026年には「鼓武士」のメンバーとして、日本の伝統音楽との融合を通じ、バンドネオンの新たな可能性を世界へ発信している。使用楽器は、恩師ネストル・マルコーニより譲り受けた銘器Alfred Arnold。

曽根 麻央　(Trumpet / Piano)　Mao Sone

幼少期よりピアノを学び、8歳でトランペットを始める。バークリー音楽大学大学院修士課程第1期生を首席（summa cum laude）で卒業。
国際トランペット連盟（ITG）ジャズ・コンペティション優勝をはじめ数々の受賞歴を持ち、世界各国のジャズフェスティバルに出演。
帰国後はアルバムリリースやBlue Note Tokyo出演、映画音楽、Netflix作品への楽曲提供・ピアノ監修など、演奏家・作編曲家として多彩な才能を発揮している。
2026年7月には、声明・弦楽器・ジャズを融合した革新的な音楽ステージ「響」の音楽監督を務める。
同年、津軽三味線奏者・浅野祥とのユニットMAOSHOでアメリカデビューを果たし、日本の伝統音楽とジャズを融合した新たな音楽を世界へ発信。
さらに「鼓武士」では、日本文化の魅力を現代的なサウンドで表現し、国内外で高い評価を得ている。

浅野祥（三味線・歌）

宮城県仙台市出身。慶應義塾大学卒業。3歳で和太鼓、5歳で津軽三味線を始め、三絃小田島流二代目・小田島徳旺氏に師事。14歳で津軽三味線全国大会（現・津軽三味線世界大会）最高峰A級を史上最年少優勝し、2004～2006年の3連覇で殿堂入り。17歳でメジャーデビュー後、アメリカ、ヨーロッパ、アジアなど世界各地で公演を重ねる。ジャンルを超えた演奏活動で山下洋輔、宮沢和史、yama、沖仁らと共演し、ウィル・リー、マーカス・ギルモア、リチャード・ストルツマンら世界的音楽家との作品も発表。

ロックフェスやジャズフェスにも出演し、和楽器の新たな可能性を切り拓く。

2023年には三絃工房と世界初となる三味線奏者のエンドースメント契約を締結。2025年には曽根麻央とのユニット「MAOSHO」を結成し、ニューヨーク公演を成功させるなど、世界を舞台に活躍を続けている。

Kan(パーカッション)
高校卒業後に渡米し、ニューヨークで小川慶太氏らに師事。2016年にバークリー音楽大学へ入学。
在学中より、Blue Note Tokyoやボストン州議事堂での演奏、ヨーロッパツアーへの参加など、国際的な活動を展開する。参加したAlain Malletのアルバム『A Wake Of Sorrows Engulfed In Rage』は、第63回グラミー賞「Best Immersive Audio Album」部門にノミネート。
また、Yotam Ishay率いるバンドのメンバーとして参加した楽曲が、Snarky Puppyのマイケルリーグとビルローレンスが審査員を務めたコンペティション「Beyond Music」で選出され、両氏がプロデュースするアルバムに収録された。
2022年には小曽根真率いるビッグバンド「No Name Horses」にゲスト出演。
さらに、世界的シンガーErykah Baduや、ブラジルを代表する作曲家・ピアニストAndré Mehmariらとの共演を重ね、ジャンルや国境を越えた活動で高い評価を得ている。
現在は東京を拠点に演奏活動を行うほか、日本の音楽・文化・芸術を新たな表現へと昇華し世界へ発信するプロジェクト「MOONRISE」のアーティストディレクターとして舞台制作にも携わっている。

＜MEMBER PROFILES＞

Kazuma Miura (Bandoneon, Arrangements)

In 2006, Kazuma Miura met the legendary bandoneon master Néstor Marconi at the Beppu Argerich Music Festival. After funding his trip to Argentina through the sales of his self-produced CD, he traveled there to study with Marconi, and has continued under his mentorship ever since.

In 2008, Miura became the first Japanese musician and the youngest competitor in the history of the competition to win Second Prize at the 33rd International Piazzolla Competition in Italy.

In 2011, he performed alongside world-renowned artists including Martha Argerich and Yuri Bashmet at the Beppu Argerich Music Festival. He received the 2014 Idemitsu Music Award, one of Japan's most prestigious honors for emerging classical musicians.

Miura also performed the travel documentary music featured in NHK's historical drama Seiten wo Tsuke (Reach Beyond the Blue Sky) and has appeared on major Japanese television programs, including Tetsuko's Room, gaining recognition across a wide audience.

His latest album, Kazuma Miura: Bandoneon Cinema, was released by Victor Entertainment.

In 2026, as a member of KOBUSHI, he continues to explore new possibilities for the bandoneon by blending it with traditional Japanese music and sharing this unique musical expression with audiences around the world.

He performs on a rare Alfred Arnold bandoneon, generously entrusted to him by his mentor, Néstor Marconi.

Mao Sone (Trumpet / Piano)

Mao Sone began studying the piano in early childhood and took up the trumpet at the age of eight. He graduated summa cum laude as a member of the inaugural class of the master’s degree program at Berklee College of Music. With numerous accolades to his name—headlined by winning the prestigious International Trumpet Guild (ITG) Jazz Competition—he has performed at major jazz festivals worldwide.​

Since returning to Japan, Sone has built a diverse career as a performer, composer, arranger, and producer, releasing acclaimed albums, appearing at Blue Note Tokyo, composing for films, and contributing music and serving as piano supervisor for Netflix productions.

In July 2026, he served as the music director for "Hibiki," an innovative musical stage production that seamlessly fuses Shomyo (traditional Buddhist chanting), string instruments, and jazz. This same year, he made his U.S. debut with MAOSHO, a collaborative duo with Tsugaru Shamisen master Sho Asano, introducing global audiences to a groundbreaking sonic landscape where Japanese traditional music meets jazz. Furthermore, through his project "KOBUSHI," he brings the profound allure of Japanese culture to life through a contemporary lens, earning widespread critical acclaim both domestically and internationally.

Sho Asano (Tsugaru Shamisen)

Born in Sendai, Miyagi prefecture.

Asano began playing taiko at age three, and later the Tsugaru shamisen at five. He studied under Tokuo Odashima II of the Sangen Odashima School. At age seven, he became the youngest competitor to participate in the National Tsugaru Shamisen Competition. In 2004, he won the competition's highest A Class, becoming its youngest-ever champion. Later, he went on to win the competition for three consecutive years through 2006, earning induction into the Tsugaru Shamisen Hall of Fame.

Following his major-label debut at age 17, he has performed at leading venues around the world, including the Concertgebouw and the John F. Kennedy Center. Alongside his work as a Tsugaru shamisen player, he is an accomplished taiko drummer and percussionist, collaborating with artists across genres ranging from Japanese folk and classical music to rock and jazz.

In 2023, he became the first artist in the world to sign an endorsement agreement with Sangen Kobo. In 2025, he formed the duo "MAOSHO" with Mao Sone (piano and trumpet), earning acclaim for their debut performance in New York. He is also a member of "KOBUSHI," alongside Kazuma Miura (bandoneon), Mao Sone (piano and trumpet), and Kan (percussion), exploring new musical expressions that bring together traditional Japanese music with musical traditions from around the world.

Grounded in classical repertoire and Japanese folk traditions, he is dedicated to creating innovative musical expressions while sharing the artistry of Tsugaru shamisen and Japanese culture with audiences worldwide.

Kan (Percussion)

Kan is a versatile percussionist from Osaka, Japan. At the age of 18, he moved to the United States and studied in New York with percussionist Keita Ogawa. In 2016, he entered Berklee College of Music.
During his studies, he began his international career through performances at prestigious venues such as Blue Note Tokyo and the Massachusetts State House, and toured across Europe. He contributed to Alain Mallet’s Grammy-nominated album “A Wake Of Sorrows Engulfed In Rage”. A track he performed on as a member of Yotam Ishay’s band was selected in the Beyond Music competition, judged by Snarky Puppy’s Michael League and Bill Laurance, and was included on an album produced by them.
In 2022, he appeared as a guest with Makoto Ozone’s big band “No Name Horses.” He has also collaborated with the globally acclaimed singer Erykah Badu and the Brazilian composer and pianist André Mehmari.
Currently based in Tokyo, he continues to perform while serving as the artistic director of “MOONRISE,” a project dedicated to sharing Japanese music, culture, and the arts with the world.
