大阪出身のマルチパーカッショニスト。

中学の時に吹奏楽部でパーカッションをはじめる。

高校在学中は仙道さおり氏に師事。卒業後、ニューヨークでチェンボコルニエル、小川慶太 氏、セルジオクラコウスキ、ホジェリオボッカートなどに師事する。

ニューヨーク在住中、日本大使館にてMIKA Mimura ERICKOSONバンドで演奏。

2016年にボストンのバークリー音楽大学に入学。在学中はアランマレット、フェルナンドブ ランダオ、タイガー大越などに師事。

2017年Banda Magdaの来日公演にてブルーノート東京に出演。2019年自身がパーカッ ショニストとして参加しているラテンフュージョンバンドDEJÀNにてスイス、チェコ、オースト リア、ドイツにて演奏。

同年、ボストン州議事堂にて演奏。 第63回グラミー賞「Best Immersive Audio Album」のカテゴリにおいて自身が参加した Alain Malletのアルバム「A Wake Of Sorrows Engulfed In Rage」がノミネート。

2021年、ヨーロッパにて行われたEster Wiesnerovaのレコーディング、そして次年に行わ れたツアーにも参加。また、2022年イスラエル人ピアニストYotam Ishayのイスラエルツ アーに参加。

Snarky Puppyのマイケルリーグとビルローレンスが審査員を務めたコンペティション「 Beyond Music」にて選出され、審査員二人がプロデュースしたアルバムに収録された。

2022年、小曽根真氏の率いるビッグバンド”No Name Horses”のクリスマスジャズナイトに ゲストとして出演。

現在は東京を拠点に国内外問わず演奏活動を広げている。

A multi-percussionist from Osaka.

He began playing percussion in his junior high school brass band.

During high school, he studied under Saori Sendo. After graduating, he moved to New York, where he studied with Chenbo Corniel, Keita Ogawa, Sergio Krakowski, and Rogerio Boccato, among others.

While living in New York, he performed at the Embassy of Japan as a member of the MIKA Mimura ERICKSON Band.

In 2016, he entered Berklee College of Music in Boston. During his studies, he trained under Alain Mallet, Fernando Brandão, and Tiger Okoshi, among others.

In 2017, he performed at Blue Note Tokyo during Banda Magda’s Japan tour. In 2019, he toured Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany with the Latin fusion band DEJÀN, in which he performs as a percussionist.

That same year, he also performed at the Massachusetts State House in Boston. Additionally, Alain Mallet’s album A Wake Of Sorrows Engulfed In Rage, on which he participated, was nominated for the 63rd Grammy Awards in the category of “Best Immersive Audio Album.”

In 2021, he took part in recordings by Ester Wiesnerova in Europe, as well as the subsequent tour the following year. In 2022, he also joined Israeli pianist Yotam Ishay’s tour in Israel.

He was selected for the competition “Beyond Music,” judged by Michael League and Bill Laurance of Snarky Puppy, and was featured on an album produced by the two judges.

In 2022, he appeared as a guest performer at the Christmas Jazz Night of “No Name Horses,” the big band led by Makoto Ozone.

Currently based in Tokyo, he continues to expand his performance activities both in Japan and internationally.
